The Ultra Carbon DEF is absolutely identical to the Ultra Carbon (currently also the lens is identically labeled), but the impact surface has a size of approx. 162 x 155 mm.
This version is slightly slower and more controlled, and is very suitable for players with long pimples. Especially in the case of defensive woods with an enlarged impact area, the greatest possible optimum hit zone is important in order to be able to "fish" as many balls as possible. This is ensured by the carbon in the case of the Ultra Carbon DEF.
Disadvantage of this version is, of course, the higher weight. In addition, the wood is also more coplanar due to the larger impact area.
For a defensive wood with an enlarged face, this wood is quite fast and is therefore suitable for a modern interfering game with frequent own offensive action.
